Students on the Intensive English (IE30) study the same lessons as described for General English. During the block 5, students make even better use of the language they are learning by special focus lessons. The school selects some skills from the list below based on each student’s needs and interests. Survival English Develop practical English skills in everyday situations. Topics include greetings, meeting people, small talk in English, making suggestions, giving opinions, and spare time vocabulary. English for Work Learn to communicate clearly in business situations such as interviews, presentations and meetings. Learn work-related vocabulary and idioms and improve your business writing. Pronunciation and Accent Reduction Learn tips on reducing on your accent and how to say difficult sounds in English. Review problem sounds, stress, patterns, intonation, and other features. Creative Writing Learn how to use different techniques to write creatively. Develop creative ideas and express your opinions through writing in a variety of forms. Canadian Idioms and Slang Learn a variety of English expressions that are used in daily conversation with a special emphasis on commonly used Canadian idioms and slang. Reading Develop reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension by reading passages from a variety of sources such as newspapers, magazines, books, and websites.

Student Information

•ANNE’S Language House (ALH) offers English programs including General English, Intensive Conversation, and IELTS Preparation to meet the needs of each English language learner. Smaller class sizes allow for more personalized attention for students. ALH ensures that our students improve their English proficiency level and achieve their goals by providing the best possible English learning environment.

Terms: ANNE’S Language House

- Services must be paid in full 14 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 15 years of age or over

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- Enrolment fees are non-refundable.
- Accommodation booking fee are non-refundable.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund Policy

- If a course is cancelled between 29 and 1 days before course start:
- If a course is cancelled between 1 and 5 days before course start: % refund

Visa Refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 180 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other Terms

A full refund (minus non-refundable deposits) will be issued to students who withdraw in writing 30 days or more before the course begins. After this point, a 70 percent refund of tuition paid will be given for withdrawals received up until the first day of the program. If students withdraw within 5 calendar days of the original start date of the program, a 50 percent refund of tuition paid will be issued. No refunds are
given for withdrawals when more than 5 days of program have been completed.

Dort wählst du dann den Untekunftstyp aus, den du möchtest (Hier musst du keine Datum auswählen, wenn es dieselben sind, wie bei dem Spachkurs - sie werden automatisch hinzugefügt).
Nach der Option Unterkunft, wirst du die Option "TRANSFER" finden. Diese Alternative ermöglicht dir einen Transfer zu buchen, der dich vom Flughafen abholt und dich bis zu deinem Aufenthaltsort oder Gastfamilie bringt.

Wenn du all diese Optionen ausgewählt hast, wirst du an der rechten Seite eine Zusammenfassung deiner Reservierung mit allen Informationen über den Kurs und die Unterkunft, sowie den Preisen finden. Außerdem wird dort auch die zuzahlende Anzahlung dargestellt. Jetzt musst du nur noch auf den orangenen Button "JETZT BUCHEN" klicken und es wird sich eine weitere Seite öffnen, auf der du deine persönlichen Daten eingeben musst. Wenn du gebucht hast, musst du nur noch die kleine Anzahlung leisten. Danach werden wir die Schule kontaktieren und deine Buchung anfragen. Sobald dir die Schule deine Buchung bestätigt, hast du deinen Platz sicher. Dasselbe gilt für die Buchung der Unterkunft. Du kannst entweder mit Kreditkarte, Paypalkonto oder Überweisung bezahlen, so wie du es vorziehst. Die Anzahlung, die du bezahlt hast, wird von der Gesamtsumme abgezogen. Deine 100%ige Buchungssicherheit: Es ist sehr unwahrscheinlich, dass etwas schief geht bei deiner Buchung, wenn diese bereits durch die Schule bestätigt wurde. Wenn es wirklich einmal passieren sollte, dass du keinen Platz in deiner ausgewählten Schule bekommst, dann sind wir so fair und schreiben dir deine Anzahlung auf deinem Konto gut und finden eine andere mögliche Alternative für dich.
Wann fangen die Kurse an?
Die Starttermine der intensiven und der Standart-Sprachkurse sind in der Regel flexibel. Wenn Du einige Grundkenntisse der Sprache hast, kannst Du bei fast jeder Schule jeden Montag des Jahres anfangen. Wenn Du ein absoluter Anfänger bist, beginnen die Kurse einmal oder zweimal im Monat. Du solltest beachten, dass die Sprachschulen im Juli und August mehr Sprachschüler haben als in einer anderen Zeit des Jahres. Das bedeutet, das während dieser Zeit die Kursgebühren, die Unterkunftspreise und die allgemeine Entwicklung der Lebensunterhaltskosten teurer sind.

Wenn Du im Juli oder im August einen Kurs buchen möchtest, solltest Du dieses früh tun. Die Schulen haben begrenzte Plätze und sind in der Hauptsaison gut gebucht. Die Chance, Deine ausgewählte Unterkunft zu bekommen ist auch größer. Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe der Schule zu bekommen, ist im Sommer schwierig. Sprachkurse in der Nebensaison (September bis Juni) sind nicht nur preiswerter, sondern haben meist auch kleinere Klassen.
