In collaboration with the Philharmonic society of Sestri Levante, the ABC School offers Italian language and music courses. In the morning: Students are able to study Italian language, choosing which course they prefer. (Standard course: 9:15- 12:30, individual course: personalised timetable). In the afternoon: The music lessons take place, at a time agreed with the music teacher. The music lessons can be individual or in small groups, and the courses which we offer include: Drums and percussion/ classical and electric guitar/ clarinet/ flute/ violin. The ABC School also offers afternoon cultural activities which students are able to take part in depending on their timetable. The ABC School provides accommodation for enrolled students. Our accommodation are located in differ- ent types of homes and families: young, senior, and single parent families and cou- ples with or without children. People may have different lifestyles or interests. Please note that the number of families providing accommodation is limited, there- fore - if you opt for this solution - make sure you book in advance. The school provides accommodation from Sunday (the day before the course starts) until Saturday morning (the day after the course finishes). An extra night on arrival or departure is possible. If you choose a room with use of the kitchen, you will have your own space to keep your food, but please, remember you are not the only person in the house: as the kitchen is shared with the host family and/or other students, you are expected to leave it clean and tidy. - Bed-linens and towels are provided and changed once a week. - Rooms are cleaned before the student’s arrival. The students are responsible for the cleaning of their room and of the common spaces during their stay (kitchen and bathroom). - Electricity, gas and water expenses are included in the price.

- Services must be paid in full 15 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- Where a cancellation is received 15 days after enrolment there will be no refund whatsoever.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Enrolment fees are non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
- If a student is absent for one or more weeks at a time, arrangements can be made for the course duration to be extended at no extra cost.

Refund Policy

- If a course is cancelled more than 16 days before course start: % refund
- If a course is cancelled less than 15 days before the start date full price will be charged.

Visa Refusal

- If an entry visa is not granted and the School is informed more than days before the start date, the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- week tuition
- week accommodation
- If an entry visa is not granted and the School is informed between and days before the start date the following charges will apply:
- registration fee
- week tuition
- The remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other Terms

To enroll it is necessary to send 30% of the fee of the chosen course as one of the following options: cash, by bank transfer or by credit card. Bank expenses are charged to the student. In the case of a cancellation before the beginning of the course, the school will retain the deposit. The ABC school reserves the following rights:
to make no refunds once the course has begun; to change course programmes without any prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Wie buche ich einen Spachkurs / Unterkunft?

Über uns zu buchen ist sehr einfach. Du musst lediglich auf den Link der Schule, die dich interessiet, gehen. Dann unter "Spachkurs" in dem Feld START das Datum auswählen, ab wann du den Kurs besuchen möchtest. Danach musst du nur noch angeben, wie viele Wochen du an dem Kurs teilnehmen möchtest.

Anschließend wählst du den Kurs, den du möchtest, aus. Du kannst auch weiteren zusätzlichen Service, wie z.B. eine Unterkunft oder Flughafentransfer dazu wählen. Wenn du einen zusätzlichen Service hinzufügen möchtest, dann schaue weiter unten auf der Seite unter "Unterkunft". Dort wählst du dann den Untekunftstyp aus, den du möchtest (Hier musst du keine Datum auswählen, wenn es dieselben sind, wie bei dem Spachkurs - sie werden automatisch hinzugefügt).
Nach der Option Unterkunft, wirst du die Option "TRANSFER" finden. Diese Alternative ermöglicht dir einen Transfer zu buchen, der dich vom Flughafen abholt und dich bis zu deinem Aufenthaltsort oder Gastfamilie bringt.

Wenn du all diese Optionen ausgewählt hast, wirst du an der rechten Seite eine Zusammenfassung deiner Reservierung mit allen Informationen über den Kurs und die Unterkunft, sowie den Preisen finden. Außerdem wird dort auch die zuzahlende Anzahlung dargestellt. Jetzt musst du nur noch auf den orangenen Button "JETZT BUCHEN" klicken und es wird sich eine weitere Seite öffnen, auf der du deine persönlichen Daten eingeben musst. Wenn du gebucht hast, musst du nur noch die kleine Anzahlung leisten. Danach werden wir die Schule kontaktieren und deine Buchung anfragen. Sobald dir die Schule deine Buchung bestätigt, hast du deinen Platz sicher. Dasselbe gilt für die Buchung der Unterkunft. Du kannst entweder mit Kreditkarte, Paypalkonto oder Überweisung bezahlen, so wie du es vorziehst. Die Anzahlung, die du bezahlt hast, wird von der Gesamtsumme abgezogen. Der Restbetrag muss dann bis 15 Tage vor Kursbeginn bezahlt werden. In jedem Falle wirst du eine Email erhalten über deine getätigte Anzahlung und einer Aufforderung den ausstehenden Restbetrag bis zu einem bestimmten Datum zu begleichen.

Wann fangen die Kurse an?
Die Starttermine der intensiven und der Standart-Sprachkurse sind in der Regel flexibel. Wenn Du einige Grundkenntisse der Sprache hast, kannst Du bei fast jeder Schule jeden Montag des Jahres anfangen. Wenn Du ein absoluter Anfänger bist, beginnen die Kurse einmal oder zweimal im Monat. Du solltest beachten, dass die Sprachschulen im Juli und August mehr Sprachschüler haben als in einer anderen Zeit des Jahres. Das bedeutet, das während dieser Zeit die Kursgebühren, die Unterkunftspreise und die allgemeine Entwicklung der Lebensunterhaltskosten teurer sind.

Wenn Du im Juli oder im August einen Kurs buchen möchtest, solltest Du dieses früh tun. Die Schulen haben begrenzte Plätze und sind in der Hauptsaison gut gebucht. Die Chance, Deine ausgewählte Unterkunft zu bekommen ist auch größer. Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe der Schule zu bekommen, ist im Sommer schwierig. Sprachkurse in der Nebensaison (September bis Juni) sind nicht nur preiswerter, sondern haben meist auch kleinere Klassen.
