The college is in a convenient location in central Antalya with great views over the sea from the terrace where we took breaks from classes. The teachers were well organised, friendly but clear about our learning goals both as a group and as individuals. The paper and digital materials, teaching techniques and class rooms were helpful for my learning. It was an enjoyable week in a happy environment with enthusiastic students. Yes, I did improve my Turkish, so I plan to repeat it very soon.
In general I liked the turkish course at Babil Language School. The teacher was very nice and she tried her best to find the proper teaching methods for everyone in the classroom. The atmosphere in the school was wonderful. I met a lot of interesting people. The only thing that should be improved is the book. The host family deserves a big praise!!! Really a very nice family!!!
Top notch teacher and great atmosphere in a beautiful city. What more can you ask for?!
I am still studying. The course is really great. Mehtap in Antalya is one of the best language teacher I had in my life. It makes a lot of fun and I am learning a lot. I only can recommend this course. It is great! Thanks.
A week is too short but we made the best out of it. The kids at school are wonderful; the location of both the school and the home-stay couldn't have been better.
I think that the center which run by Mrs.Mehtap is the best if one is thinking of taking Turkish lessons , she is accurate , punctuate , friendly , very well organized and know how to build up the knowledge to the student , she is also very helpful and taking responsibility to aid in settlement and give advice in paper work that I needed to move to Turkey , wish all the best for her .
As someone who doesn't particlury like learning languages I was suprised to find myself enjoying the Turkish course at the Babel language school. The teaching is first-class, the course moved at a good pace and the homework really helped me to learn outside of class. The Babel School is in an excellent location in Antalya and environment always very welcoming. If you are serious about learning a language, I'd highly recommend the Babel school.
My wife Kate and I live in Antalya for the majority of the year and after an initial months course at TOMER we looked for a teacher who we could arrange a flexible course of Turkish Language learning with. At that time Babel had just started and I think we were some of their first pupils. The course content was just what we were looking for with plenty of practical day to day language, all of which we could practice with our friends and neighbours. The most encouraging aspect to Babel is the utter professionalism in the way they approach their business and at the same time creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy the learning experience. Both my wife and I would not hesitate in recommending Babel to anyone of any age who wants to learn a language as they are practitioners of the finest quality."
I studied Turkish for 6 weeks (15 hours/week) with Mehtap and one of her instructors, Fatma. Wow, I'm amazed how much I learned in such a short amount of time. The Turkish classes were intensive, and it took a fair bit of work outside of class to try and remember what we learned each day. Mehtap does spend time reviewing previous lessons so the beginning material isn't lost along the way. I certainly recommend her school.
