This "total immersion" English language holiday in Malta package is designed to help you improve your English for your job or to help you have better employment prospects. Malta is an English speaking country and you will live with an English speaking host family who will cook your meals. Your lessons at Alpha School will be with a native English speaker who will help you to improve your confidence and skills in the English language.

In the heart of the Mediterranean sea, the small island of Malta is the perfect holiday destination to learn English. English is an official language and almost everyone you meet speaks English. The road signs and shop displays are almost all in English so you'll have excellent opportunity to be totally immersed in the English language everywhere you go.
The Maltese people are friendly so do not hesitate to walk up to a stranger in the street or shops and ask for information or help! The weather in Malta over winter is almost always sunny with temperatures between 10 and 20 degrees centigrade! Many tourists are still swimming in the sea in November & December!
A host family will be your guide
By living with an English speaking host family you will not feel alone, and the family will provide your breakfast and evening meal, giving you a lot of opportunity to converse with them in English. They will help you with any questions and information.
Host families are located within easy walking distance of the school or just a short bus ride a way.
Small classes and native English teachers
Alpha School is proud to offer students smaller classes and this allows you greater opportunity to participate in lessons. Students are mixed from various countries so together you use English as the common language. Our friendly teachers are all highly qualified and experienced and take great professional pride in helping students develop greater confidence and fluency in English.
This immersion package includes:
7 nights host family accommodation including breakfast and cooked evening meal
20 lessons (15 hours) of English language at the appropriate level of English in small classes

The longer your full immersion programme in Malta is, the better your English will be when you leave. Normally 1 week is not enough and we recommend a minimum of 3 weeks to really start feeling the benefits of a full immersion programme.

•Alpha School of English is open all the year round except for public holidays. Almost all courses begin on a Monday and end on a Friday. It is possible to begin a course on any Monday during the prescribed period. Minimum course length is 1 week and the maximum length is 50 weeks. One lesson takes 45 minutes. Standard Courses are from 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Intensive Courses are from 1.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. or 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. All our lessons are held at the main Alpha School of English building in St. Paul's Bay. •One courses may be held elsewhere by special arrangement (for example at the student's place of accommodation). Please note that when there is only one student taking a group course, the number of lessons is reduced by a third.
